SKW 2009:Award ceremony

To everybody that voted for the SKW awards thank you so much. I received the people’s choice award for “Best by Land”. I am grateful that people appreciated my sculpture and humbled that they cast a vote for me. Congratulations to Lauren McAloon that won the Bob Crane’s first prize, her work is truly inspirational. This was truly an interesting exhibition, from being juried by acclaimed curator Shamim Momin to the diverse art debate that it caused amongst the local community. All this was planned, juried, created, installed through just as interesting times of Presidential elections, grave economical times and the heroic death of the Space Bat.
