Challenge: 115 books on the aesthetics of art.

For the year 2011 I decided to scale down on my art production and read more. I am planning two large interdisciplinary art projects for the upcoming year (called the “Passage of man” and “The Explorer” but more about that later)  but most importantly I want to read the following list of 115 books. I estimated that this can take me up to two years. Some of the books I did read while in University but I do feel that at the time I did not truly understand its importance. This list contains subjects of Aesthetics, Art Criticism, Philosophy and Psychology. Most of these titles were collected while visiting the National Gallery of Art in D.C and the library of Enrique Martinez Celaya.

You can see my list of books here.
